501      clear quartz crystal

Planet: Sun

Light is enhanced & amplified by quartz. The smaller the mass, the more powerful is the effect. 501 works through soil & atmosphere.

Clear quartz is ground to a fine powder & mixed with rain water, then buried in cow horns.

502      yarrow

Planet: Venus

502 stimulates potassium & bacteria and helps combine sulphur & other substances. It promotes fruiting and strengthens the plant against insect attack.

Flowers are stuffed into a stag’s bladder.

503      chamomile

Planet: Mercury

503 helps to retain nitrogen, calcium & sulphur for essential protein development. It also stimulates manganese & boron as well as soil bacteria.

Dried flowers are stuffed into fresh cow intestines.

504      stinging nettle

Planet: Mars

504 helps decomposition, aids chlorophyll formation & stimulates iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulphur & bacterial activity in the soil.

Dried stems & leaves are stored below ground.

Valerian provides a subtle blanket of warmth that assists plants to interface with the Universe. It also forms a warm blanket around the compost heap.

Grind flowers & dilute with rain water.

In Australia we substitute horsetail with Allocasuarina verticillata (drooping sheoak). The stems from the male plant are used.
